Parks and Recreation

The Borough owns and maintains four park areas.

Larry Mills Park 

Located on Fontana Drive in the Holiday Park section of the Borough.  This 32-acre park is home to Plum Area Youth Soccer Association (PAYS) and the annual community celebration known as Summerfest. Plum Paradise Park, a playground structure, is also located at this park. Other amenities include a volleyball court and a bocce ball court. There is a pavilion available to rent that is equipped with electricity and lighting as well as a charcoal grilling area and full-service restrooms.  To rent the pavilion or to check availability, please visit the Borough website.  The pavilion rental dates are from April 1st through October 31st.  

 

Renton Park 

Located in Renton at 9021 Walnut Street.  The amenities at this park include a rental pavilion equipped with lighting and electrical outlets, full-service restrooms, play structure, basketball court, three pickleball courts, bocce ball court, and cornhole boards. To rent the pavilions or to check availability, please visit the Borough website.  The pavilion rental dates are from April 1st through October 31st.  

 

Renton Ballfield 

Located at 300 Renton Avenue.  This field is available to rent for per season only.  Season #1 runs from April 1st through August 31st.  The field can be used for baseball or softball. There is a small pavilion on site along with portable restrooms.

 

 

Logans Ferry Park 

A small park located at 415 Plum Avenue in the Logans Ferry section of the Borough. Amenities include a play structure and a refurbished basketball court.  

 

 

Plum Creek Park 

This park is located on Ross Hollow Road. This is home to the Plum Baseball Softball Association (PBSA), Plum Midget Football Association (PMFA), and Plum Borough Youth Lacrosse (PBYL). There are six baseball/softball fields at this location. The Plum Midget football field and Plum lacrosse field is located at 1196 Ross Hollow Road. There are two pavilions equipped with electrical outlets and lighting that are available to rent located at 1040 Ross Hollow Road. There is a full-service restroom and a small play structure near the pavilions.  The Borough’s annual youth trout fishing event is held at this location in April.  To rent the pavilions or to check availability, please visit the Borough website.  The pavilion rental dates are from April 1st through October 31st.  

 

 

Boyce Park 

Plum Borough is home to Allegheny County Boyce Park. Contact Allegheny County Parks for additional park information or to rent any available facilities.
