The Pennsylvania Department of Transportation plans to perform work on the following routes:

  • State Route 400 (Saltsburg Rd) (Municipality of Penn Hills line to Westmoreland County line)
  • State Route 2066 (Old Frankstown Rd) (Municipality of Penn Hills/ Monroeville line to Sagamore Hill Rd)
  • State Route 2075 (New Texas Rd/Old Frankstown Rd) (Saltsburg Rd to Westmoreland County line)

Sealcoat repair will begin in April and will last throughout the Spring and Summer as time and resources permit.

The sealcoat program is an essential maintenance activity used for extending longevity of the roadway. Signs will be posted in advance of this operation.

The general scope-of-work for this maintenance project consists of sealcoat repair (tar/chip) and line painting.

Traffic will be maintained during all operations. Temporary on-street parking restrictions may be necessary and will be coordinated with PennDOT in advance.
