Lane Shifts on Part of Greensburg Road in Plum to Start on March 13

PITTSBURGH – The Department of Public Works announced today that lane shifts on state-owned Greensburg Road (Route 366) near Lincoln Beach Drive in Plum Borough will start at 9 a.m. on Monday, March 13, 2023. The lane shifts are expected to end in December 2023. They are required for replacement of Pucketa Creek Bridge No. 5, which carries Lincoln Beach Drive and is co-owned by Allegheny County and Westmoreland County. Work also includes installation of new pavement, curb, drainage structures, guide rail, pavement markings, and signage.

During the project, traffic in both lanes on Greensburg Road will be maintained but moved, and lane widths will be reduced. A temporary bridge over Pucketa Creek will be constructed to maintain Lincoln Beach Drive traffic between Plum Borough and Upper Burrell Township. Drivers are encouraged to use caution in the area.

The $1 million project will be done by Pugliano Construction Company, Inc., of Plum.
