EPA Public Hearing on issuance of draft permit to Penneco Environmental Solutions

The U.S. Environmental Protection Agency, Mid-Atlantic Region (EPA), announced on July 26, 2022 the issuance of a draft permit to Penneco Environmental Solutions, LLC of Delmont, Pennsylvania. This permit authorizes the conversion and operation of a UIC Class IID commercial disposal injection well, Sedat #4A, located in Plum Borough, Allegheny County, Pennsylvania.
The EPA has scheduled an in-person public hearing for August 30, 2022 at the Plum Community Center, 499 Center New Texas Road, Pittsburgh, PA 15239 from 6:00pm to 8:00pm EST.
There is no need to register in advance for the virtual hearing. The meeting organizer will call on people to deliver their oral comments. Participants who want to supply written or printed materials can do so using the information listed below.
