Plum Borough's local elected leaders guide the community to move forward with the changing jobs.

• The Borough elects seven Council members at large and one Mayor. The Mayor and Council have a progressive outlook on the needs of the community and are proactively moving the community forward.
• The nine members of the Plum Borough School Board are continually working to upgrade the school system including the physical infrastructure and enhancing the curriculum in compliance with modern teaching methods and techniques.
• Both the Borough of Plum and Plum Borough School District have a highly educated and trained staff in each of their respective disciplines.
• The Council elects a Borough Manager to manage the daily operations of Plum.
• With approval from Council, the Borough Manager recruits and hires personnel to keep the Borough moving forward.
