Administrative Goal

To provide services to the community in a timely, efficient, and cost effective manner.

Department Details

The Public Works Department provides various services to the community including street and storm sewer repair, snow removal, and parks maintenance at:

• Larry Mills/Paradise Park
• Renton Park
• Renton/Fred Alberta Field
• Logan's Ferry/John Tecak Park

Public Works also provides facilities maintenance and community organization support.  Yearly programs include crack sealing, curbside leaf pickup, street sweeping, and the annual liquid fuels paving program.

The department consists of 21 road crew members, a director, and assistant director, and a secretary.  A fleet of over 30 vehicles and equipment is utilized in providing services. Typical services include:

• Maintaining the Borough infrastructure -- street and storm sewer system.
• Snow removal.
• Setup and cleanup of community events.
• General maintenance of all borough owned building and grounds, including the Senior Center.
• Contracted services - Street sweeping, yard waste collection, roadside vegetation control, guide rail installations.
• Annual projects - Curbside leaf pickup, crack sealing, liquid fuels paving program, line painting.

Monday-Friday: 7:00 a.m.-3:30 p.m.
Saturday-Sunday: Closed

Summer Hours (4/1-9/1)
